A supportive and interactive environment where children can build confidence in English through games, activities, and natural communication, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
(Beginner English & Integration Programme)
What is this camp about?
The English Starter Camp is designed for children from outside our school (or for new students joining our school who need to improve their English) who have little or no English experience and would like to build confidence before entering an English-speaking environment.
This camp follows a balanced structure:
50% English learning and 50% interaction, games, sports, and practical communication.
Children will not only learn English in structured lessons but will actively use it throughout the entire day in real-life situations.
The camp will be open for four age groups:
📍 Location: British International School Bratislava, MAPLES building, Pekníkova 6, 841 02 Bratislava
💰 Price: €270
📅 Dates: Open throughout the entire holiday period! Each week will have a different theme, ensuring that children attending for multiple weeks experience something new and exciting every time (29.6.-3.7., 6-10.7., 13-17.7., 20-24.7., 27-31.7., 3-7.8., 10-14.8.)

Children from this camp will join students from the Classic Summer Camp for selected activities, as well as lunch and snack times. This ensures continuous opportunities to communicate in English naturally throughout the entire day.
🏅 PE & Multisport Activities
Children will also have dedicated PE sessions where they can stay active and enjoy sport in a fun and supportive environment.
Multisport Activities include:
Sport sessions also provide additional opportunities to practise English through movement and teamwork.
🎉 Special Fridays!
Every Friday, children will enjoy special activities, including:
Small pools will be available for children to cool off, and they will have the chance to enjoy an exciting water fight using water guns, making the last day of the week even more fun and refreshing.
In case of bad weather, Water Day will be replaced by a Sports Day, where children will have the opportunity to compete in various sports as well as team-building activities.
If a specific age group does not meet the required number of participants, groups may be combined. In past camps, mixed-age groups have worked well, with activities still tailored to each child’s abilities.
The timing of English lessons will be adjusted flexibly throughout the week. Lessons may also be divided between morning and afternoon sessions to best align with the Classic BISB Summer Camp programme and shared activities.
